What are all these crazy abbreviations in your Ferrari Parts Catalogs? GS, GD, SX, DX, arrrrg !!

These abbreviations come from the original Italian parts books of Ferrari.

    • DX = Right side of the vehicle, as if you are standing BEHIND the car. (Destra)

    • SX = Left side of the vehicle, as if you are standing BEHIND the car. (Sinistra)

    • GD = Right hand drive vehicle, like UK, Australia, etc. (Guida Destra)

    • GS = Left hand drive vehicle, like USA, France, most markets. (Guida Sinistra)

    • RM = Reverse gear (Retromarcia)

    • MY = Model Year

    • C6 = For Switzerland, up to Model Year 1986
    • C7 = For Switzerland, Model Year 1987
    • C8 = For Switzerland and Austria, Model Year 1988
