As seen on FerrariChat, and produced by a fellow F355 enthusiast, this billet resonator delete cap not only cleans up the looks of the 355's engine compartment but also ensures a leak-free interface for more accurate off idle MAF metering. Removing the factory resonator also lends to a throatier idle sound. Includes all necessary hardware and seals for quick installation in your own garage in less than 30 minutes with no special tools.
This cap replaces your 168783 resonator entirely as #40 in this diagram: F355 5.2 Intake Boxes. These caps are black anodized billet aluminum. The picture of a silver cap below is for illustration only. For 1996+ F355 models only.
